个人简介

马懋德教授是英国工程技术学会院士,于1999年在香港科技大学计算机科学系获博士学位。马教授曾在新加坡南洋理工大学任教20多年,曾任卡塔尔大学工程学院教授。马教授的研究兴趣包括网络安全,人工智能安全,和计算机网络。他曾担任 100 多个国际会议的会议主席或技术委员会主席等主席职位。马教授共发表了近550篇国际学术论文,其中超过280篇国际学术期刊论文和260多篇国际学术会议论文。他发表的论文被 Google Scholar 引用近 13000 次。他在各种国际学术会议上做了近 120 场主旨演讲。马教授现担任多个国际学术刊物的主编和编辑。马教授曾在2013-2016年和2023-2024年担任IEEE通信学会特聘杰出讲座教授。

主要研究方向

马懋德教授网络空间安全研究的主要工作集中在1)以密码学为基础,分析计算机通信网络中的身份与信息认证和密钥管理协议,探索在不同恶意攻击下各种有线和无线通信网络包括无线传感器网,水下传感器网,无线局域网、4G/5G无线城域网、车载网,智能电网通信网,物联网,机器人通信网,低轨卫星通信网,软件定义网络及命名数据网络中的安全漏洞,并设计高效的安全协议来保护计算机网络特别是无线网络免受各种恶意网络攻击。2)以机器学习及人工智能核心算法为核心,设计网络入侵检测系统以保护各类有线和无线计算机通信网络包括车载网(车内和车间通信网)与物联网的正常运行,确保在各种网络攻击特别是未知网络攻击下有效预警,防范敏感信息泄露与网络瘫痪。3)探索各种人工智能方法例如联邦学习的安全脆弱性,以机器学习及人工智能核心算法为工具,设计各种有效的安全解决方案检测并预防各种恶意攻击以保障人工智能算法的正常工作和人工智能算法输出结果的可靠性和适用性。
